All products supplied under The Arc Angels name are subject to the same terms of sale.
Safety and liability:
Due to the nature of composite panelwork, it is the sole responsibility of the buyer to determine the suitibility of the panel/product purchased for their use/application.
The Arc Angels do not accept any liability for any injury or damages caused by failure of a product supplied by The Arc Angels. The customer must take full responsibility / liability for the appropriate and safe use of our panelwork. Please contact us should your require any further information regarding the suitability of our products for your particicular application and use.
We do not guarantee any of the products we sell on structural grounds, unless it has been fitted by a representitive of The Arc Angels. In the latter case, a structural integrity cirtificate will be issued to guarantee the product.
We highly recomment that all panels should be fitted by a compitent fitter with experience of composite panelwork. Appropriate additional safetey features should be built into the design of a car which uses composite replacement panels to retain structural integrity and protect the driver and his/her passenger in the case of an incident/accident. Fittings should be routinely checked for security, additional security of panels i.e. bonnet safety catch of some description should be fitted by the customer. Sharp edges may be apparent on some products which should be removed prior to fitting. Distortion of composite panels can occur when exposed to high levels of heat. We cannot guarantee against such distortion. Exhaust coolant hoses and any other areas of high heat should be routed away from composite panels, or heat shields fitted.
Due to the nature of gelcoat finished composite products, on very rare occations small air pockets may be present between the laminate and gel coat. These air pockets are nearly impossible to detect but sometimes become apparrent over time. We are not liable for any areas that require re-finishing due to the air pockets (voids) becoming visable.
All of our moulds are routinely checked for correctly fitting products. All of the panels provided by The Arc Angels undertake a rigerous quality inspection before being dispatched guaranteeing a high quality good fitting product. Therefore we do not accept returns or refunds for products that don`t fit as this will be due to surrounding panels on the car being fitted incorrectly. It is common for cars, and particularly Minis, to undertake some misalighnment over time, which can entail a more complex fitting process of new panels. We do not offer refunds for made-to-order panelswork in such cases, but will happily offer free advice if required.
Composite panels may contain minor aesthetic defects due to the manufacturing process. This will not affect the performance of your panel. Our composite panels (excluding those with the exposed weave finish) are not finished products but will require further finishing.
Our exposed weave carbon panels are guaranteed for 1 year from the manufacture date in the unlikely occurance of the degrading of the finish. This excludes any degrading due to the surface being cracked, chipped or scratched. Proof of purchase will be required.
Dispatch and Delivery:

Whilst we keep a range of our products in stock, we will often make your product to order, particularly if it is of carbon fibre composition or a more unusual product. The nature of composites means that the manufacture process takes place over several days due to the curing times. We also deliver a large proportion of our products using our own transport to ensure the safe arrival of your composite product (which is not insurable using standard couriers). This also gives you the unique oppotunity to ask any questions face to face with our staff. We usually run our own delivery vans every three weeks (in busy times more regular trips are made). Due to these reasons, please anticipate up to a three week dispatch time for your product. However, should you require your product more urgently, please enquire with us first and we will do our best to accomodate your needs.
Damages on delivery:
We cannot refund, replace or recieve any compensation from the insurance for any item that has been delivered damaged and not signed for as 'Damaged'. Please ensure that you inspect the parcel when it arrives and note any damage when signing for the parcel.
Returns must be made within 15 days of purchase for a full refund (excluding postage and packaging costs). If the panel is returned due to a manufacturing error the item will be replaced or a refunded in full (including p+p costs). Refunds will be made after the product has been returned to us in the dispatched condition. Please contact us prior to returning any item.
